Bite by Ommin202 Bite by Ommin202
Today's Lesson, kids: Bite off more than you can chew.
I know the normal saying is "Don't bit off more than you can chew", but I disagree. I see too many people being cautious; I think it's time to challenge someone bigger than you; to take on something harder than you think you can do, and see if you can handle it. Even if you can't, you'll make some mistakes and learn some things along the way so that you're better for next time!

This is really interesting ^w^
Though honestly, I couldn't look at it without Weird Al's song "Dare to be stupid" popping up in my mind -_-
Still, I will agree: It does pay to push oneself beyond the limit sometimes.

Interesting, I think the usual saying is that way for a reason. It works well the other way around as you have it whilst you are in the safe sand pit, once out of the sand pit and into the land of dragons, such a philosophy will get you into trouble / dead. Ask a soldier. Or a fire fighter. Or a surgeon. A politician ? Or maybe even a counsellor. . .

What about the soldier who could've stopped a bomb, but decided not to challenge themselves, letting it blow up and killing a dozen people?
The firefighter who could've carried both children if he pushed himself but didn't risk it any only carried one to safety?
If you try, you may get hurt and you might die, but if you don't try you'll always live an average life and end up dead inside; people have to challenge themselves to grow and become better!
